Research interests

I am interested in the development of machine learning methods for perception and control of intelligent and autonomous robots, that interact and assist humans in tasks of daily living. Also, I am interested in bio-inspired and cognitive methods that, based on the integration of multisensory stimuli such as touch, vision and hearing, allow to build autonomous robots capable to sense, perceive, learn and make decisions to safely interact with humans and their environment.
